Ed Voyles Auto Group Sponsors 2019 Cobb School Foundation Golf Tournament
On April 15, 2019, the Cobb County community gathered for the annual Cobb School Foundation Golf Tournament. It was a time to enjoy beautiful weather, play friendly rounds of golf and raise money for our local school system. Ed Voyles Auto Group is proud to have been a Birdie-level sponsor for this event and donate money towards “keeping Cobb as the best place to teach, lead and learn” through after-school programs, senior scholarships, teacher grants and more.
About the Foundation
As the second largest school system in Georgia (and 23rd in the nation!), the Cobb County School District is comprised of 67 elementary schools, 25 middle schools, 16 high schools, and more specialized education facilities. The Foundation was founded in 1999 by Cobb community and business leaders and began with a grant from Cobb Energy to help fun athletic stadiums at Pope, Harrison, Kennesaw Mountain, and Kell High Schools.
The Cobb Schools Foundation is now run by a volunteer Board of Trustees and relies on the generosity of the Cobb community businesses and individuals. Ed Voyles Auto Group is proud to be a part of the Cobb Schools Foundation because we believe fueling the education of our students and the resources of our teachers forward are the key to a successful future.
